We work closely with designers to help realise the creative vision behind a product at a low cost. Nuprint can print packaging for glass wine bottles using silk screen and rotogravure printing – for tactile and vibrant labels. We can combine embossing with hot or cold foiling on a range of different materials, this includes uncoated or metalised finishes, printing ink in any colour on top of the foiling for that added wow factor. We can also embed Augmented Reality (AR) onto artwork, which can help you to connect with your customer using the latest technology.
Premium labelling solutions
If you’re looking for a specialist finish for your wine bottles, we can advise on the best solution for your brand. Whether you’re looking for a metallic finish, foiling, embossing or uncoated labels, we can provide what you need at a cost-effective rate.
Our team can help you find new ways to create the effect of embossed metal foil on the neck labels on bottles, using braille-textured varnish and a high-resolution colour to deliver a high quality and consistent design.
Through our BST International Shark 4000 LEX inspection system, we can ensure consistency of colour, design and text, whatever shape or size your bottle is and our X-Rite Colour Management Technology also ensures that there is precise and consistent colour-matching.
Nuprint are one of the few label manufacturers in the UK and Ireland providing direct food contact packaging. We have BRC AA High Hygiene Certification. We are also approved by Deutsche Pfandsystem GmbH to print security ink-marked sleeves that support recycling.
Shrink Sleeve Packaging
Shrink sleeve packaging is the latest innovation and is suitable for short, medium and long print runs. It is more cost effective than printing directly onto a wine bottle and can work as a protective seal.
At Nuprint, we can produce shrink sleeves on both our conventional UK Flexo and HP Indigo digital presses – this helps to create a unique label for your product.
We can help you craft a 360° design with shrink sleeves using high-definition plates on our Nilpeter FA-4 combination press. We can also add a matt varnish, or use metalised materials and opaque whites with an optional brightener to help your self-adhesive labels stand out from the crowd.
We use low-migration UV flexo inks and secure labels that don’t effect the packaging contents.
Made from recyclable PETg or PVC, our shrink sleeves can be reverse-printed, creating scratch-resistant labels that ensure your products remain in pristine condition. Sleeves can also be printed on the biodegradable PLA material.
