The Brunch Box
Belfast-based convenience food company, The Brunch Box supplies a wide range of ‘food to go’ options for retailers, food service customers and travel clients. With a very discerning range of customers, The Brunch Box must ultimately deliver great food in practical and attractive packaging.
This includes supplying all airports on the island of Ireland – providing produce to airlines including Aer Lingus, Ryanair and EasyJet. For this particularly niche area, the company must come up with new and innovative products every six months and requires a high turnaround of quality packaging which also meets the demands of being sold in an inflight environment. A major challenge is to ensure the packaging can withstand being reheated and that it doesn’t lose its colour in any way. At Nuprint, we use only the very best quality inks and materials in our labels, ensuring that the packaging retains its quality appearance at all times.
To date, we have produced a range of self-adhesive labels for The Brunch Box’s sandwiches and wraps. One such project was developing packaging for a special Tayto Cheese and Onion sandwich, after Aer Lingus passengers pitched the idea. The product was very well received by all and caused a stir on social media.
“We need a label supplier who can move fast in all areas from design to delivery of finished labels for multiple products and Nuprint’s turnaround is second to none. Because our products are stored, prepared and served in many different environments we need to be sure that the labels will remain in place and will always look good. Nuprint advised and guided us on specialist materials and finishes to meet all our requirements within very short time frames.” John Weatherup, The Brunch Box.
